HISTORY
Torque was the remaining Vio-lence members after Sean quit. It was basically Ray Vegas, Mark Hernandez, Dean Dell and Phil Demmel that were left after Sean Killian quit Vio-lence. In 1993, Vio-Lence recorded a 3 song demo for what was going to be the new Vio-Lence stuff. But when Sean left Vio-Lence the band immediatly disbanded. The remaining members re-recorded in 1994 the same demo with Phil Demmel on vocals, and this was the beginning of Torque. In 1995 they recorded another demo and Mascot records signed the band. They released an album, called Torque in 1996, and they played in Dynamo Open Air 1996. Promoting their album they opened for several renamed bands such as Venom and Slayer and Sacred Reich. After the return of the band, Mascot didn't pick up the option of a second album. They recorded a four song demo in 1997, and then Torque disbanded. The sound of Torque can be defined as Groove Metal, but with a little bit of Thrash that don't make their tunes unique, but they still kick ass \m/
